We use high quality cooper crimps, and clear heat shrink tube on our 8/0-12/0 hooksets. Why do we use clear tubing versus the industry standard of black tubing? Great question! We believe that it is extremely important for anglers to be able to inspect the crimps for corrosion. Corrosion on a connection point of the hookset can cause failure and make you loose your next trophy or money fish.

Our 8/0-12/0 hooksets are made with 700lb stainless steel cable. The 7/0 is made with 480lb stainless cable to be light weight to minimize impact on lure action.
